A boxing session at NBT Blackrock will involve a mix of Skipping, Shadow boxing, 121 Padwork , punching bags and core exercises . A typical boxing session is 1.15hr in duration, the coaching team made up of high achieving amateur and professional boxers will help you learn all the necessary skills that it takes to become a boxer.
We encourage all clients to attend a €15 trial session before signing up to a membership. You can attend any of the scheduled boxing or circuit training sessions Monday to Saturday. We supply gloves and hand wraps free of charge to all individuals attending trial sessions. We strongly recommend purchasing your own gloves when you decide to sign up. Gloves can be purchased directly from us in the gym or will be supplied free of charge as part of special offers from time to time.
All the boxing, Kickboxing, and Circuit training sessions are open to all levels of fitness and ability. Boxing is an amazing full body workout that not only delivers great physical results and leaves you feeling mentally relaxed. Boxing is the ultimate stress busting workout. The training is designed to allow different levels of fitness to work together while all participants get a tailored workout. We pride ourselves on giving personalized training to all who attend any of our group sessions.
Neil Bowman Training is a registered boxing club with the IABA. We fill the gap between Boxerise and Boxing Gym. If you’ve tried Boxercise or another form of cardio boxing training and want to get more involved in boxing then NBT is the place for you. We offer full sparring after you’ve attended for a minimum of 4 weeks or have previous boxing experience. Sparring is optional.
